1) I don't think the orientation of the motor mount really matters that much. I had also tried it in the opposite direction. Regardless, I had to remove the one alignment pin, as there is no spot on the crossmember for it to go. On the FAQ for the mounts, it shows it mounted in both directions. 2) The pins were there but weren't lining up right away. There was a few day span between the stabbing and putting the rest of the bolts in. The other bolts and pins lined by about loosen the others, then rotating the tranny ever so slightly. 3) Others often complain of it burning oil at the track as Alt300zxTT posted. It's also another potential point of a boost leak. Removing the system makes a plenum pull that much easier and it's also free to just empty the catch can than to have to buy 100 bucks in valves and hoses every 30k miles (or whatever the recommended placement time is) 4) sorry :-P
